Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, who processes it and how to ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Effective September 2026.
This site, realestatewestkelowna.ca, is operated by Sean Phillips, REALTOR®, of Coldwell Banker Executives Realty in Vernon, BC. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
Only what you type into a form:
- Listing alerts: name, email, optional phone, price range, property type and timeline.
- Home value request: property address or neighbourhood, property type, selling timeline, name, email, optional phone and any notes.
- Buyer's Almanac: first name and email.
- Contact form: name, email, optional phone, your interest and your message.
The calculators, commute tool, lease check and quiz run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter into them is sent to us or stored.
This site doesn't use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or third-party scripts.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, send the listings or guide you asked for, prepare a price opinion, and follow up about real estate services. We don't sell or rent your information.
Who processes it
Form submissions are delivered through Formspree (formspree.io), a form-processing service that acts as our processor and may store submissions on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where they may be subject to local law. Messages are then handled in Sean's email. Where Sean uses a brokerage or MLS® system to set up a saved search, the details needed for that search are entered there. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard web server data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to provide the service you asked for and meet brokerage record-keeping obligations, then it is deleted. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to contact. Email chaletsean@gmail.com or call 778-363-0542. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
